Check engine light finally went out after my shop welded this in place of the old unit. The universal fit was forgiving on my 2006 truck, and the stainless body already looks like it’ll hold up way better than the rusted original. Two weeks of daily driving and no codes coming back.

Welded this in myself and the stainless steel shell is holding up great against road salt. Check engine light stayed off and the CARB compliance gives me peace of mind during smog checks.

Had a P0420 code popping up for weeks, installed this universal converter and the check engine light shut off immediately. The stainless steel construction feels solid compared to the rusty old one I pulled out. Fits my truck perfectly with some basic welding.
