Install took about an hour in my driveway with basic hand tools, and the black coated tips give the truck a much cleaner rear look. The sound is noticeable but not obnoxious on the highway, which was my main concern.

That low rumble at idle is exactly what I was hoping for, and the black-coated tips look way better than the factory chrome. It gave my 2017 Sierra a noticeable bump in throttle response without making it obnoxious inside the cab.

Installed this on my 2015 Silverado and the sound is perfect—deep but not obnoxious inside the cab. The black coating on the tips hasn't shown any signs of fading after a few months.
