The throaty idle from the crossmember-back system is exactly what my '57 needed—definitely wakes up the neighborhood. I can feel a solid bump in mid-range power just cruising around town.

I was worried the installation would be a hassle, but the crossmember-back design fit perfectly on my '55 Bel Air. The sound is rich and deep without being obnoxious, and I can feel a bit more pep from the 4.3L.

My 57 Bel Air sounds incredible now—the Street Series system gives it a deep, aggressive rumble without being obnoxious. Installation lined up perfectly with the factory hangers, took about two hours in my garage.
