Installed this on my 2000 Chevy last weekend and the check engine light stayed off, which was a relief. The universal design made it straightforward to weld into my existing exhaust setup.

I was worried about getting the check engine light to stay off after replacing my old converter, but this one clicked in place and cleared the code with no issues. The stainless steel build feels sturdy compared to the rusted unit I pulled off.

The stainless steel body feels solid, and it bolted up to my truck's exhaust without needing any extra adapters. The check engine light stayed off just like I hoped, so it did the job. I just wish the included hardware set had a few more washers.
