My 2007 Equinox had been throwing a P0420 code for months, and this converter fixed it instantly. The O2 sensor ports lined up perfectly, so I didn't have to mess with the wiring harness at all.

The CARB compliance sticker alone was worth it for me—my smog check passed without a single argument. The direct-fit design meant zero cutting or welding, everything bolted right up to the factory hangers. Check engine light stayed off through a full tank of highway driving.

Smog test came up clean and the check engine light hasn't flickered once since I installed it, even after a full week of stop-and-go driving. The mandrel-bent tubing lines up perfectly with the stock mounts, so I didn't have to wrestle with any extra brackets.
