Took about an hour to swap out my old converter, and the direct-fit design saved me from any custom welding. The corrosion-resistant coating on this thing looks solid, and it’s been two weeks with no check engine light. Exactly what I needed to pass California smog without fuss.

Mandrel-bent tubing made the install way smoother than I expected, and the direct-fit design meant zero cutting or welding. Check engine light stayed off through a full tank and the usual commute, so it’s doing exactly what it should.

Swapped this in last weekend and the check engine light finally stayed off—the direct fit was genuinely plug-and-play, no hanging brackets or weird angles. The mandrel-bent tubing makes a noticeable difference in how smoothly it idles now.
